Alguma coisa mudou em mim quando me casei, em 1999. Até então, eu tinha 58 kg e um corpinho de dar inveja. Mas a falta de ânimo para fazer exercícios físicos e os maus hábitos me levaram a atingir, oito anos depois, a marca de 97 kg. Foi um processo lento e gradual. Quando percebi, meu corpo já estava detonado. Acho que isso acontece com muitas gordinhas. Por isso, compartilho aqui o que aconteceu comigo para servir de alerta:

1. Eu não me priorizava
Eu sempre arranjava um compromisso de família ou de trabalho para colocar na frente dos meus exercícios físicos e da minha dieta.

2. Eu me enganava
Se batia a culpa, eu arranjava argumentos para acalmar a minha consciência. Algo como: "Mas meu marido e meus amigos me amam assim".

3. Não me pesava
Eu fugia da balança como o diabo da cruz. Ignorar meu peso era uma forma de minimizar meu desconforto.

4. Fugia das pessoas
Na adolescência, fiz desfiles na minha cidade. Depois de engordar, passei a fugir das garotas que conheci na época.

5. Não ouvia conselhos
Minha mãe é professora de educação física e me dava dicas para perder peso. Em vez de aproveitar, eu pedia para não ser repreendida.

6. Pensava como gorda
Diante de uma mesa cheia de comida, eu só pensava em comer muito e de tudo. Pegar "só um pedacinho" não estava com nada.

7. Não tinha disposição
Meu peso diminuiu meu fôlego. E a falta de disposição virou regra na minha vida.
